AKIAAA is a Member of NIAAA
AKIAAA is a member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. The NIAAA provides education, leadership, resources and best practices for athletic administrators.
The NIAAA recognizes state associations that have reached one the three criteria for membership:
- AD’s from at least 70% of schools that belong to ASAA are members.
- Increase in membership by at least 10% over the last year.
- Record number of members.
The 2023 commendation was for a 42% growth in membership.
