The Alaska Interscholastic Activity Administrators Association is a voluntary association of public and Private high Schools which was established by and is responsible to its members. We are committed to improving the governance of activities within the state of Alaska in cooperation with the Alaska Schools Activities Association (ASAA).

Guest Speaker Dr. Craig Perry
Athlete, coach, educator, and athletic administrator—simply—a life immersed in athletics, education, sports administration, and leadership. Craig currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for USA Curling, the USOPC National Governing Body for the sport of Curling. Craig also serves as a Senior Advisor with the U.S. Council for Athletes’ Health where his mission and that of USCAH is dedicated and committed to ensuring participation at all levels is as safe and healthy as possible.
Prior to joining USA Curling and USCAH, Craig served 15 years as an Associate Director with the Minnesota State High School League. With the League he was responsible for all MSHSL eligibility and compliance for the 500+ member schools of the League and the MSHSL Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. Additionally, he was responsible for the administration of Girls and Boys Tennis, Wrestling, and Girls and Boys Hockey—also serving as the MSHSL State Tournament Director for those sports.
A nationally recognized and award winning educator, speaker, and leader, Dr. Perry has also served in a number of roles with the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA): a national Board of Directors member, a member of the NIAAA Publications Committee for 18 years, and he is currently in his 27th year with the NIAAA Leadership Training Institute as a national faculty member creating, contributing, instructing, and developing transformational leadership driven curriculum. He also has served in multiple leadership roles at the state, regional, and national levels of interscholastic athletic administration.
